Caliptrol tablets contain Atorvastatin 10 mg, 20 mg or 40 mg strengths, packed in Blister-packs of 1x10 tablets. Atorvastatin is a member of the drug class known as statins, used for lowering blood cholesterol. Atorvastatin works by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase. It also stabilizes plaque and prevents strokes through anti-inflammatory and other mechanisms.
